This February, we are thrilled to recognize Gamma Phi Beta as our Girl Hero!
Gamma Phi Beta is a National Partner of Girls on the Run and is celebrating 150 years in 2024. The Lambda Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at the University of Washington has been supporting Girls on the Run Puget Sound in so many amazing ways since 2015! From volunteering with a team as a Coach or Superstar Supporter to helping at the 5K, their energy and enthusiasm for GOTR is outstanding. During the academic year, they host two different fundraisers to support Girls on the Run Puget Sound. One of these is the Gamma Phi Beta signature philanthropy event, Moonball. This fun, active event is also hosted by chapters across the county to raise funds for their local Girls on the Run councils.
This year, UW Chapter President Kate is excited to continue the partnership with GOTR and is a former program participant herself! Kate participated in Girls on the Run throughout elementary school in Spokane, WA and remembers loving her experience and is looking forward to giving back and continuing to support Girls on the Run.
Thank you, Gamma Phi Beta!
